Victoria Chavez of Waco passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., and Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, at Brazos Funeral Home.
Victoria was born September 23, 1957, in Victoria, Texas, to Andrew Garcia and Julia Gonzales Garcia.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Garcia.
She is survived by her parents; a daughter, Roxy Chavez; sons, Adrian Chavez and David D. Chavez; grandchildren, Alyssa Chavez, David A. Chavez, Raquel Santiago, and one on the way, Victoria Marie Chavez; sisters, Eva Sisneros, Jessica Lapp, Mary Cassel, Rita Calderon, Denise Garcia, and Angie Garcia; brothers, Mike Garcia and Andrew Garcia II; and numerous nieces and nephews.
